On Tuesday, May 1, 2012, Dr. Geraldine Dawson, Chief Science Officer at Autism Speaks, was the keynote speaker at the 2012 Lipsitt-Duchin Lecture on Child and Youth Behavior Development, sponsored by Brown University's Center for the Study of Human Development and Rhode Island KIDS COUNT. In her presentation, Dr. Dawson discussed the state of science surrounding autism and future directions in early detection and intervention, with a focus on the infant-toddler period. The lecture was held at Brown University.
