Head Start Graduation

On Thursday, May 29, 2008 a graduation-themed event organized by the Rhode Island Head Start Association garnered attention to the fact that 400 fewer children will be able to participate in and graduate from Head Start if the proposal to cut $3.3 million in state funding in FY 2009 for Head Start passes in the budget process. The event was held outside the State House.
