Rhode Island KIDS COUNT Legislative Updates include information on child-related bills that were introduced during the current Rhode Island legislative session. Bill numbers are inlcuded for each bill Rhode Island KIDS COUNT is tracking as well as information on the lastest hearings and progress of the bill. In cases where Rhode Island KIDS COUNT offered testimony, a note is made and written testimony is available.    

The Rhode Island General Assembly meets from January to July. During the legislative session additional bills are added on a rolling basis.
